Article Body:
Guests in any hotel establishment notice when things aren’t going right. It’s human nature to notice things out of place, particularly where those things are in some way related to dust or dirt. Scientists refer to the “disgust” reflex – a deeply ingrained mechanical action in the brain that identifies and highlights sources of unpleasant smells or areas of apparent uncleanness, as a potential source of disease or infection. So when you stay in a hotel and you don’t notice the London housekeeping services in action, it’s probably because they are working as they should. Take the staff at ACT Clean as an example. ACT Clean staff are trained to approach cleaning with a proactive and enthusiastic manner. ACT Clean insists that all staff are hard working, and that they approach the tasks at hand with the enthusiasm that only comes when you are intent on doing a job well and doing it to the fullness of your own capabilities. To this end all ACT Clean London housekeeping services staff are exhaustively trained in the correct use of the most effective cleaning chemicals on the market. Most of all, they are trained to a standard only accepted by the most famous hotel and restaurant names in the land – anything less isn’t good enough for a company that is obsessed with delivering the best service in the business. A big part of this training is for the attention to detail that sets ACT Clean London housekeeping services staff apart from the competitors. This attention to the finer points is what makes every room and public area cleaned by the housekeeping staff so well done no-one notices anything at all. Bottles and sanitary products are restocked according to the precise instructions of the hotelier – with all labels facing out, for example, and all nozzles pointing in the same direction. The remotest corners are swept and vacuumed. There is of course a difference between adequate cleaning and outstanding cleaning. An adequately clean room is one that looks, on first glance, perfectly neat and tidy – and which is clean from a sanitary angle. But look closer at this room and you may see a few smears on the mirror, where the glass cleaner has not been properly wiped off (the secret is paper towels). Or perhaps one or two dried water splashes on the inside of the sink, where the cleaning solution has been rinsed off after application. These are the little details, attention to which makes all the difference when London housekeeping services are cleaning a room. The kind of difference you don’t notice at all. Attention to detail in a training sense means keeping proper traceable paperwork for every employee, every course and every qualification. It means managing cleaning services rather than just sending them in to brush and polish. And most importantly of all it means adding extra staff capability to the mix when required – even getting the staff involved in other minor hotel tasks when the heat is really on. Properly trained, London housekeeping services are never noticed by the customer. But they will certainly be noticed by the company employing them!
