In order to work in Australia you need Australian work visas. With many applicants coming every year to work in Australia, the process of getting the visa might be a bit complicated. But if you are aware of the requirements of Australian work visas then the complications can be minimised a lot.

Some of the basic requirements for a work visa include that the applicant must be at least 18 years old and not over 45 years of age. However, one must remember that this age limit varies depending on the type of Australian work visa. For example in case of Australian working holiday visa the age limit is from 18 to 30.

The applicants must meet the required health and character requirements along with passing Skilled Visa points test. In the recent times changes have been made by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to skilled migration program. The change has also made the applicants confused.

After changes were made job order has emerged as one of the most important aspects. Job order is a document issued by labour department on behalf of requesting region or employer declaring that there is demand for that particular position applied for.
