Tips to Enhance the Performance of Dewalt Batteries
Trying to use your drill but it is not working. Tired of fixing the drill head but still the problem persists. Well the problem might not be with the drill head but with the battery which is being used to power the drill. Used to operate different hand tools dewalt batteries are widely in demand for various applications..
There are certain points to remember in order to maximize your battery life. As these batteries do not need to be discarded, you can reuse them by charging them fully. In order to charge your battery completely it would be better to drain out the left over battery power and then charge it for the recommended time. Regardless of the type of tool or size of the dewalt battery, each battery pack can be reconditioned to work like new. After you charge, your battery put it back in your drill and run it again until it is fully drained. Repeating this cycle a few times would mark an improvement in your batteries performance.
If the batteries are stored outside of the charger they will discharge naturally, hence it would be better to leave them in the charger to be sure it goes through Equalization and Maintenance Modes. Do not completely run down a battery as it may damage your device. As the dewalt chargers have a maintenance mode which allows batteries to remain in the charger thus maintaining a fully charged pack until the user is ready to work.
Remember that too hot or too cold temperatures might hamper your batteries performance therefore charge the batteries at room temperature always to prevent the loss of run-time. Knowing the basics is not worthy unless you use it for the maintenance of your battery. After all, your battery needs proper care and attention to function efficiently.
